A recent report has found that Americans are more frightened of dying from a medical error than dying in a plane crash, and rightfully so. Medical errors cause more deaths in the United States annually than car crashes, AIDS, or breast cancer. This is the equivalent of a 280-person jumbo jet crashing every day of the year.
